Long Essay On My Favourite Book In English

Introduction:

There is nothing better than having a book by your side all the time. This saying is very true for me since I have always counted on books to be by my side whenever I need them. Books are fun for me. Using them, we can travel the world without leaving where we are. A book also enhances our imagination.

I was always encouraged to read by my parents and teachers. I learned the value of reading from them. Since then, I’ve studied several books. Harry Potter will always be my favorite book. My life’s most intriguing read. It never gets boring to me, even though I have completed all the books in this series.

Harry Potter Series

An eminent writer of our generation wrote Harry Potter by J.K. Potter. In these books, the wizarding world is portrayed. MJ Rowling has done such a good job of creating a picture of this world that it seems like it is a real one. I have a particular favorite book in the series, despite the fact that there are seven books in the series. There is no doubt that The Goblet of Fire is my favorite book in the series.

I was immediately captivated by the book as soon as I started reading it. In spite of the fact that I have read all the previous parts, this one caught my attention more than any of the previous ones. The book was an excellent introduction to the wizarding world and gave a larger perspective on it.

My favorite part about this book is when it introduces the other wizard schools, which for me is one of the things that excites me most about it. In the Harry Potter series, the concept of the Tri-wizard tournament is without a doubt one of the most brilliant pieces of writing I have ever come across.

Furthermore, I would also like to point out that this book also contains some of my favorite characters. The moment that I read about Victor Krum’s entry, I was struck with a sense of awe. Rowling provides a vivid description of the aura and personality of the character described by her in her book. As a result, I became a massive fan of the series as a result of it.

What the Harry Potter Series Taught Me?

Despite the books’ focus on wizards and magic, the Harry Potter series contains a lot of lessons for young people. The first lesson is the importance of friendship. Harry, Hermoine, and Ron have a friendship I have never seen before. In the books, these three Musketeers stick together. Having a trustworthy friend taught me a lot.

Also, I learned that no one is a replica of Harry Potter. There is goodness in everyone. Our choices determine who we are. As a result, I made better choices and became a better person. Despite their flaws, characters like Snape had goodness. Even the most beloved characters have flaws, like Dumbledore. This changed my perspective on people and made me more considerate.

I found hope in these books. My parents taught me the meaning of hope. Just like Harry, I clung to hope in the most desperate times. I learned these things from Harry Potter.

Conclusion:

As a result, there were many movies based on books. A book’s essence and originality cannot be beaten. There is no substitute for books’ details and inclusiveness. My favorite book remains The Goblet of Fire.

Paragraph on My Favourite Book

Among the books, I enjoy reading the most is The BFG by Roald Dahl, which is one of my recent favorites. The story begins with a little girl who lives in an orphanage named Sophie being kidnapped by a big friendly giant (BFG) from the orphanage where she stays by a big friendly giant (BFG). The night before, she had seen him blowing happy dreams into the windows of children who were sleeping.

The young girl thought the giant would eat her, but she soon realized that he was different from the other giants who would gobble up children from Giant Country. As a small child, I remember the BFG as one of the nicest and gentle giants around who blew happy dreams to young children all his life.

As I read this book, I found myself laughing out loud several times throughout the text since he spoke a funny language called gobble funk! Sophie was also impressed by the way he spoke, so it is not surprising that she was also enchanted by him.

It is not long before the BFG and Sophie become friends. He takes her to Dream Country, where they catch and bottle dreams and nightmares in order to save them. As well as Sophie’s adventures in Giant Country, she also has a chance to meet some of the dangerous giants there.

An evil giant named Bloodbottler accidentally ate her while she was hiding in a snozzcumber (a cucumber-like vegetable that the BFG loved eating), while she was hiding in the cucumber. Following this, the BFG gave a hilarious description of how he saved her from the evil giant’s eyes by putting his own hands on her.

There is a fight between Sophie and the evil giants towards the end of the book. Then she plots with her to imprison them with the help of the king. In order to tell the queen about the evil man-eating giants, she travels to Buckingham Palace with the BFG where they meet her and tell her about this horrible creature. Eventually, they were able to capture the giants and imprison them in a deep pit in London, which served as a prison for them.

This book has also been illustrated by Quentin Blake, who has created some impressive illustrations for the book as well. Roald Dahl considered this book one of the most well-known classics of the twentieth century, and it is a beautiful work of literature that has been enjoyed by generations of young readers for years to come due to its charming illustrations that add to the story’s charm.
